Welcome to my new site, built with Astro!
I wanted to make my new site simpler for this year. Originally, I was trying to implement Payload CMS. Payload is a headless CMS that can be installed direclty into a Next.js App.
However, as I continued implementing Payload, it seemed like a lot of setup and overhead for such a small site. I decided to re-evaluate my stack, and found Astro in the process.
For a small blog/portfolio site, Next.js seemed a bit overkill. So, I re-built it, starting from a simple template and re-working it to make it a bit more personal. It also This is my first project using Astro, and I’m excited to see how it goes.
I’ll be sharing some of my projects, thoughts, and experiences here. I hope you enjoy it!
